Cora Wilson

Cora Wilson was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City (Missouri, not Kansas!). After earning her degree in education, Cora spent more than thirty years in the education system, moving through the ranks before finishing as a much sought-after principal. Her dedication to improving the education and knowledge of each new generation continues driving her. She had dedicated her life to ensuring our children are armed with the proper tools to not only become successful adults, but good, quality people others look up to.

Being a professional educator, Cora has seen all kinds of families. Many of them, through no fault of their own, struggle with maintaining order and discipline with their children. Cora has taken her immense knowledge base and used it to write her first book: Manners For Kids. Recognizing that many children are simply out of control and ready to spiral down dark roads, Cora developed a program to help parents and children understand each other better while teaching children the importance of manners and how they can affect their entire life.

Cora is a dedicated mother and soon to be grandmother with a heart of gold. With her husband, she has carved out a quiet refuge in the country where they raised goats and chickens to pass the time. Always a sucker for a good book, Cora enjoys being outdoors after spending so much time behind a desk. She continues learning and developing new techniques to improve the lives of children and hopes her books will provide the catalyst those families in need have been waiting for to get back on track.

Alex Haydon

Alex Haydon had always been a man of adventure. As a young boy, he was fascinated with the stories of superheroes that he would watch on television. Upon entering his teenage years, he became engrossed in the world of James Bond. His influences compelled him to seek a life of adventure and live each day with a sense of purpose, just like his inspirations. Perhaps even meet a Bond girl along the way.

But life, in all of its unpredictable nature, threw him a curveball that he never expected. Upon entering his 24th year on this planet, Alex realized that he had to make a difficult choice; either give up everything he had to enjoy a brief moment of adventure or make an ultimate sacrifice for himself. Thus, for the next 10 years, Alex entered the not-so-adventurous and definitely mundane world of a desk job. Gone were the thoughts of travel, discovery, and exploration. In their place were thoughts of deadlines, projects, and repetitive grinds.

It wasn't until Alex reached 34 that he would truly find his calling. With the help of his wonderful family and group of friends, he found the courage to take a transformational change. He realized that the 10 years of work life actually proved to be quite valuable in exploring concepts of change, growth, and self-development in many ways than he could have imagined.

Taking a giant leap of faith, Alex began to change his life. The lessons he learnt from his change as well as the years of being stuck in a loop of monotony allowed him to gain a unique perspective on life. His intense curiosity for the world of psychology allowed him to understand the human mind.

Because he always carried the need to help others and make them feel better about themselves, Alex wanted to translate his experiences into a learning medium. The result is this book that he hopes would change the lives of others, either well before they reach 34 or even long after.

Alex currently lives with his two feline companions, Gordon and Becks, who definitely don't hesitate to show him their adventurous sides. Of course, their moral support too in the form of fur on the keyboard, naps on the keyboard, the frequent belly rubs on the keyboard and well, you get the picture.

In the end, Alex's transformation changed his life. Oh, it finally helped him meet his Bond girl.

Prudence Oliver

Prudence Oliver is a writer, pre- and post-natal massage therapist, and former PA who aims to conjure up stories that entertain and inspire children to be brave. She strongly believes that life is one big adventure, and her stories are inspired by real-life events and fuelled by her wonderful imagination.

She has been inspired to write by her own childhood experiences and her experience as a mother. The Adventures of Potato and Pebble started whilst on a family holiday to Devon, England. She was driving to the beach behind a large open top potato truck. As it went round the corner, a couple of potatoes fell off. This event inspired an immediate story to keep her daughters entertained on the drive and then subsequently they insisted on making up bedtime stories for years afterwards. This book is the first of many adventures that Potato and Pebble have.

For Prudence, writing is a creative outlet, and she hopes that others will enjoy the results. What she loves most about being a writer is taking inspiration from real events. She also loves that everyone’s interpretation of a book is unique, thanks to the magical workings of each child’s imagination. She believes that it is important to have a good attitude to things in life and to be positive. Her motto is that nothing in life is impossible, but merely a case of working out how it can be done. This can-do attitude is reflected in her stories, where her characters face their problems and deal with them head-on.

Her party trick is predicting Bond actors, although she regretfully reports that her only success to date is choosing Pierce Brosnan whilst watching an episode of Remington Steele when she was ten.

When not writing, Prudence is kept busy with family life, keeping healthy, and renovating the odd house in need of some love and attention. She lives in London with her husband, two cats, and her three wonderful girls, who inspire her daily.

Sacha Lucas

Sacha Lucas is an insightful author whose writings focus on self-help books for those who are overwhelmed in today's modern world. For those who finds themselves with a cluttered mind, or who are having difficulty keeping their thoughts straight, Sacha will guide you and teach you how to detox your thoughts and declutter your mind. For those who want to take back the control, of their mind and their body, she wants to help you achieve the same level of happiness she has found, through a process of decluttering your mind and detoxing your thoughts.

Struggling through life in her early 30s, Sacha often found herself stressed, overwhelmed, and feeling lost. An ambitious woman, who was motivated to succeed, Sacha had been working hard since graduating college, setting goals, and reaching those goals, while attempting to make the most of everything life had to offer. But, like so many people today, she found that there was simply not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything she felt she could accomplish. She felt "stretched too thin" as she balanced a family life with a demanding career; not able to focus on doing anything well, though she knew that she was more than capable. She found herself being pulled in many directions, and feeling lost and unable to think clearly. She decided to take a moment to step back and re-evaluate her life, to figure out what mattered most. Focusing on both her physical health and well-being, and decluttering her mind, she found her way back, not only to happiness, but to a clearer way of thinking.

A former lawyer, and partner in a successful consulting firm, Sacha has now traded her business attire for jeans and a comfortable sweater, and has traded her heels for more sensible shoes (or none at all, if the truth were to be told). She is passionate about guiding every man and woman, from late teens to retirees, through this process of detoxing their thoughts, and decluttering their minds; finding real clarity and true happiness in life.

Sacha lives in a small town in the beautiful rolling foothills of Central California, along with her husband, two children, and a rambunctious Dalmatian by the name of Dice Casserole, so eloquently named by her two children, working together (one of which was a hungry three year old who may have been in charge). When she is not writing self-help books and working tirelessly to help others who may feel overwhelmed, Sacha can be found curled up by the fire with her husband, or helping her youngsters with their homework. Summers will find her gardening, as her children swim in the pool. With her tablet never far away, she is relentlessly jotting down thoughts and insights into how she can help others to help themselves better their lives and achieve happiness, by decluttering their minds and detoxing their thoughts.
